Melior Solutions History
Our story is one of consistent growth and dedication, culminating in the strong, purpose-driven company we have become.
2005
Formed in 2005.
2006
Participated in European Funded BRIDGE – FP6 (Building Radio Frequency Identification for the Global Environment) project – Melior and partners essentially showed that global supply chains could operate effectively without RFID by making better use of barcode technology.
2006
Started to work with the European Pharmaceutical Industry.
2009
In 2009, Undertook a small scale pilot program with the European Pharmaceutical Industry (EFPIA) in Sweden, as a pre-cursor to the publication of the Falsified Medicines Directive.
2011
In 2011, Moved into new premises in Lincoln.
2011-2013
During 2011 and 2013, Assisted with the writing of the initial EMVS specifications.
2012-2013
During 2012 and 2013, Assisted with the procurement project for the design and build of the European Hub.
2015
In 2015, Started cooperation with EMVO.
2019
In 2019 began supporting customers in the FMD roll out.
2023
In 2023 became a fully employee owned company.
2024
In 2024 became an EMVO partner and providing service directly for medicines verification.
