Melior Newsletter – Q4 2024

Welcome to our newsletter. We aim to provide a short update on various aspects around the products, activities, and general happenings at Melior.

Section 1:

Introduction

This quarter has been an exciting time for Melior. We’re delighted to welcome a new member to the team, increasing our experience and production capacity as we look to expand on our product lines in the future.

This quarter, we have mostly been focussing on cyber security. The team has completed several client-driven security questionnaires and audits, not to mention our success in achieving Cyber Essentials earlier in November.

To our UK based customers, we hope that you are prepared for the up-coming Windsor Framework changes in the new year. We have spoken to many of you recently, but if you still have any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

While much of our other work remains confidential, we’re proud of the strides we’ve made and are grateful for your continued support. Here’s to a successful, festive (and cyber-secure) holiday season!

Welcome to Tobias
In additional news we would like to welcome Tobias to Melior Solutions. Tobias will be working in Development with Conner, Geoff and Matthew and getting involved in projects for future and legacy developments going forward.

“Despite my brief time at Melior, I am impressed by how welcoming the team has been, and how in depth their processes are. 

Having had no prior pharmaceutical experience I am slowly learning the landscape and systems, but I do bring a strong set of technical skills that I hope to put to use to improve Melior’s products and services in ways that are familiar with their previous qualities.


I will mostly be involved with Melior’s own products, but look forward to helping out across the full spectrum of their services”

BAB Audit
In August 2024, Melior Solution’s have successfully passed British Assessment Bureau’s (BAB) Surveillance Audit to recertify Melior Solution’s for another 12months for having been assessed and meeting the requirements of ISO9001:2015.
If you would like to see evidence of our ISO9001:2015 certificate, this can be verified on UKAS CertCheck website. Enter our company name, and this will bring up the evidence for you to see.

Cyber Essentials
We are pleased to announce that in November 2024, we have achieved the Cyber Essentials certification for having successfully complied with the requirements of this scheme.

For those of you who don’t know what Cyber Essentials is, it is a scheme designed to show an organisation has a minimum level of protection in cyber security through annual assessments to maintain certification. It is our goal to improve on this certification by branching out further and gaining certification for ISO27001, the international standard for Information Security Management.

Evidence of our Cyber Essentials Certification is available on the IASME NCSC Certificate Search website. The search can be completed using our company name.


EMVO Audit
Melior Solutions work closely with EMVO as being one of their suppliers. In November 2024, EMVO visited our office and conducted a two-day audit.

Employee Ownership Trust

Our Employee Ownership is slowly growing with the addition of four new staff this year. Melior Solutions has only been Employee Owned for just over a year and this growth is great to see!

With the increase in employee owners, we have started to incorporate holding Employee Forums, with the goal being to bring Employee Owners together to come up with new or improved business ideas and contribute to business and development plans. We look forward to seeing what the next year will look like with continuous involvement from our Employee Owners in the business. Festive Wishes

As we come to the end of 2024, we would like to thank you all. We look forward to going into 2025 to continue our work with you all to maintain the longer working partnership as we pride ourselves on listening to our customers and working closely

Our Office will be closed but our Helpdesk will still be available on the 23nd and 24th of December and from 27th to the 29th of December, only for Urgent and High-level tickets.
